Kingston upon Hull is now the custodian of a world class music, entertainment and conferencing venue. Nuway Audio Visual Limited are extremely proud to have carried out the complete installation of all Sound, Light, Conference, Wifi, Digital Signage and Communication systems.
Nuway were approached in 2016 to design an Audio Visual system which would integrate with the multipurpose auditorium and associated conferencing spaces. The Client wanted a high specification of Audio Visual throughout the Arena which could dynamically change as the Arena changed to accept a wide variety of layouts:
- 3500 Capacity Professional Audio system for Live performances - Separated 880 Seat Performance Audio system with 8 metre 4K projection - Full House and Performance lighting system - 4 automated conference rooms - Building wide guest wifi system - Building wide IPTV system - Building wide Digital signage system - Building wide Communications system for Performers and Front of House - Show Relay Video system - IP network switch installation and management of ancillary CCTV and Door access equipment.
Nuway invited several leading manufacturers to produce the Audio design for the main auditorium. Extensive com-puter aided simulation was carried out to produce the correct levels for the Venue layout. Manufacturers D&B and Bose took a keen interest in the project and offered to demonstrate their systems for the Client.
Throughout this project, despite my many demands on them, and various changes in budgets, and left turns and right turns along the way, Nuway has always been supportive and helpful, they have been prompt with bringing back quotes, and bringing back new ideas.
